Her name was Florence

"I'm not sure what I'll do, but - well, I want to go places and see people, I want my mind to grow. I want to live where things happen on a big scale."
- F. Scott Fitzgerald

Summer is a fine lady who has been good to us as the season comes to a close. Looking back on our shoots we couldn't help but laugh at the fact that pretty much every time we got together it was raining out. So, it was only fitting we wore our rain gear for our last shoot of the season :)

Meg: I will be heading back to the U for my second year (crazy). I'm looking forward to football games, sharing an apartment with three beautiful life-lovin' friends and wherever this year will take me. Looking back on my first year, I can't help but laugh at the adventures I have shared with my blue bike, Florence. She was my faithful steed who carried me to 8am's across campus monday - friday (8am's are not fun if you were wondering). Sometimes she had a mind of her own, like the time she chose to not lock up. I guess she just really wanted to attend my Music Theory lecture with me. (Thank you school of music for having an elevator large enough to accompany her to class). Florence was even fortunate enough to ride up and down the hallways of T Hall, but that is another story. :)

Hanna: I can hardly believe a week from today my Swedish adventure begins. I'll be spending the fall semester in Växjö, Sweden on an exchange program through my home university. I'm SO excited, but SO nervous. Experiences like these don't present themselves all that often and if I waited around until I felt like I was ready, I'd probably never go. I hope to gain new perspectives, independence and so many unforgettable adventures. I'm so happy to have such amazing friends and family who have given me oodles of support these past months. You guys rule! I am definitely feeling the love through all the flowers, farewell gifts and parties. Follow me on social media to stay in touch!

Thank you for joining us on our journey of scintilla moments, what a ride it has been so far! We look forward to sharing many more with you as we experience life from opposite sides of the continent. Our mantra this semester is to live with a mind ready for whatever life carries our way. While the future can seem like this great big unknown, we can't help but be excited for the unexpected. We may not know where we are going or who we will become, but isn't that the beautiful thing about this crazy thing called life?

xoxo Hanna & Meg
